I have a friend who has a dual battery setup in his truck, he has a battery selector switch from west marine that lets him cycle back and forth or use both batteries at once. he uses one for everyday driving and hits the "both" setting when he is running his winch or fuel pump/air compressor.

You keep one as a backup in case your main goes dead. Or use both if you want/need more amperage to power heavier load devices.

I was thinking about doing this same thing. Starting to put enough stuff on the truck that it'd be nice to have the extra capacity, especially when running the winch on the car trailer.

this is the least i've seen him on the boards in a long time. He's shown up like twice in the TOTM competition, and hes still in second place. i think he'd be runnin away with it if he had advertised all the stuff hes done to it instead of "mods are in the sig link".

I try to let guys know what all is done and I try to put the pics out there. But it takes a lot of time to constantly flood the board with the same pics and I dont want to seem conceited about my mods.
