Lightbulb Dual Battery Question

I was wondering if we can run dual batteries on the Ram 1500? Does anyone have dual batteries? I figured i would install my second battery on the passenger side fender well and relocate my cold air intake. I know I would need to buy a battery isolator.
http://www.warn.com/truck/accessorie...isolator.shtml The purpose of the second battery would be to run all my accessories like my halos, fog lights behind the grill and both elec fans. I found a link on how to install a second battery and it doesnt seem hard at all.

Yep, sure did. You dont need to run an isolator unless you want to or plan on running the accessories LONG after you turn off the truck.

Yeah this ain't very hard. I'm fixin' to make my fake scoop functional with a little hood cuttin' party and gonna re-route my CAI up into the scoop.
This will free me up to get the passenger side tray and go to two batteries.

Kinda killing two mods with one rock!!!

Oh I think it'd be foolish to try to fabricate a tray if it's gonna go in the stock passenger side location. It's not expensive, even from the stealership...

I used a CTD battery tray. Go over to the cummins forum and post a WTB or look in the F/S on guys who are parting out. I didnt pay much for it. Both my batteries are 1000 amp batteries and are not deep cycle. My power cables go from the alt to the D/S battery and then from the (+) off the D/S battery to the P/S battery. I actually have two isolators and was going to use one but decided not to. No need for what i used them for.

I can say this though. I have saved many stranded people with dead batteries. I pulled into a gas station to get some gas and there was one small car trying to get a jump from another car. I went in to pay and came back out and they were still trying to get it started. I asked them if they wanted some help and they were ready to give up and just go get another battery (which they likely needed anyway). So I told them i could do it and went over there and hooked up and first hit on the ignition fired his car right up. Needless to say he was happy he didnt have to leave his car.
