noz-not trying to thread jack just not wanting to start a new wasted thread...
also, NOZ, I luckily have a black truck so the NS will work for me but I am hesitant bc I don't want to screw up some perfectly good lights either but you might check CL and see if anyone has spares to practice on. I came across a guy selling my stock tails for $20!

Those that have used nightshade (tail lights)after cleaning and wet sanding, you then apply a few coats. Are you sanding in between each coat? After you're done with the NS are you sanding in between clear coat applications or just spraying on a few layers and then buffing/waxing once dry?
Trupiano has been my main help so far but just wanted to get an overall opinion on what is best. I plan on using the auto dupli color clear coat. My local O'reilly's is only one with the NS but not the NS clear.

jk jk. Actually maori is sending me his old ones that are already painted to match my truck . But yea I have been looking on ebay and craigslist for a pair that I could practice on so I didnt screw up my only pair but they are expensive even on ebay. The dealer wants like $120 for one... ummmm NO WAY. And none of the junkyards around me have the right year dodge so thats out. You might try the FAQ section or DIY, I'm sure someone has something on there. Good luck, I love the way they look but its just not for me.
