I think I changed my mind on tire size... :)

I've had three trucks with 35s, this is the first IFS one and my first suspension lift ever, only body lifts on four different trucks before.

When/if I ever get a SFA truck again, I'm gonna go suspension again (yeah, it's a LOT better than a body lift) and 37s will be the MINIMUM size tire I'd even consider.

I'm in my early 40s now and at some point I'm gonna be too damn old to get in and out of a huge lifted truck, so sometime in the next three or four years I'm gonna go BIG!!!

If I had the resources of a forum like this one ten, fifteen or twenty years ago, I would have done some dramatically different stuff to some of the SFA trucks I've had, but I didn't have 1/10th the knowledge then that I do now. Back then I only really knew how to re-do the exhaust and install a body lift myself, so that's what I did...

After looking for along time yesterday... I think I want to go with these rims
They are Ion Alloy 138's btw. Forgot to mention that.
Those with Toyo Open Country M/T 37x13.5x17 should look sweet. I'm going to get these rims in 17x10 I think.
So, Ramhunter, just to clarify, this combo should work with only a 4" lift right?
Lemme know what you guys think.

yes will work out fine , mine does and i have plenty flex . just make sure you get the correct offset on the rims and you will need flares so your paint does not get trashed .

What kind of offset or backspacing will I need for the tries?
I gotta double check the offset but I think it is -38mm..

Ya it is -38mm

I did a 7 inch lift with 37x12.5 for stock 20's and it works fine for me, very slight rubbing, but I love the look. MY gas mileage sucks ***** if i did a long road trip but for just driving around town its good. I wouldn't worry about gas mileage when your bigger than everyone else lmao.

4" lift with those wheels and 37's will work great. A -38 offset is HUGE though.
