I'm sure those plugs will work just fine but isn't contacting the NGK rep about using their plugs in your truck kinda like asking the Ford sales rep what kinda truck you should buy?

And is asking dodge or champion the best way to go? yup, thier oem plugs, but if we all did what dodge told us, than no one would be increasing the performance of the hemi with chips, tunners dual ex, ect, we would all be useing MOPAR air filters !!!!.

I agree asking brand A if thier spark plugs will work, brand A will say they will work, if Platt plugs of any brand are in the 6.1 hemi brand new from dodge, than opps, it pays to ask the question why copper plugs in the hemi truck 5.7?

If Platt plug will work in the 5.7 charger, 300 c hemi, than whay not in the hemi truck?

Now I don't know if the 6.1 hemis run copper plugs, so if they do, than it makes sense to run copper plugs in the truck hemi.

I still would like commits from hemi owners, good or bad that are not running copper plugs.

Only 6.1 Hemi I've been under the hood on was an SRT8 Grand Cherokee and had Champion RC7PYCB4 plugs under the hood, which are a platinum plug. Again, I'm not saying you will have any issue running a platinum plug, the only dyno I saw personally that compared the two had the platinums at a 4 HP disadvantage, which is well within a dyno tests margin for error, so I would say that performance would be about the same.

I wasn't questioning the plug choice, just the fact that you asked the NGK rep. Did you expect ANY other answer from him?

And for the record, I don't believe ANYTHING a Dodge rep tells me either... LMAO!!!
