I dont have the answer for it, but have you ran the motor yet? Im wondering what the power difference is on that. Also, how much did it cost to do that??

he would still have a 4.7. Our 4.7L is 287 and a 4.8L is around 293. Boring .20 over would only make it a 289 or 290.

The computer would not know the difference.

it prob wouldnt hurt to run a custom tune, you could ask airram if he thinks that the 4.7 could "run" in its current state.

yes ive ran it about 3000 miles and runs fine just wanted to know if it would run better with reprogramed comp, it cost about 3200 dollars cheaper than a new motor by about $500 havent dino'd it yet but its got a little more pep and if u rebuild one u dont need the special tool for the cam chains i used 3 zip ties and vice grips ,easy, u need two poeple thow id stick with mufflers and cut outs ive got straight pipes and have no low end torq i can beat a 3/4 hemi to about 70 then he pulls away will get pics on here soon

yeah, a custom SCT would do you a lot of good. But I don't remember if they work with the 02's I would talk to Hemifever for sure on that.
