I just did a leveling kit on my freshly purchased truck by myself as well. Didn't go too bad for me. A total of a few hours or so. I bet its a little easier on a 4wd if I had to guess.
Yes 4x2...
I've always had a 4x4 so this is my first one without. I got such a great deal on the 4x2 2500 I was OK with it not being 4x4.

Not sure whats easier to level between the 4x2 and the 4x4 but I can say I have swapped engines faster than I was able to get this job done.
