Technically not a black truck lol but heres one of mine.
I live in Alberta Canada and we see a lot of salt in the winter. I drove these last winter and they still look new. Black is definitely the way to go.

ha ha Way to rock in the 4th. Good job!! Too the op, Black on black is the bomb! I have black chromium clads, If they weren't so rare I would probably do what matt99 did. But that is not an easy job, Dodge put there clads on so they would not fall off. Boo!

I don't have a leveling kit or any lift so with 17" wheels what is the biggest tire I can get without having to do any modifications? Again, I don't want anything super notty for mudding, just something with a little more meat than my cooper dicovery ht plus's. (but they're on stock 20's anyways)

you could do 33's on 17's no problem. go with an A/T if you want somewhat meaty but still street worthy

AF- Will the 33's keep my truck at about the same height? Given I'm going smaller wheels but bigger tires...

I would go with a 34" tire like mine. Don't rub and fit perfect.
