what types of wheels (black or not) would i not have to change out in the winter? I think I am going to get some stock 17's froma friend just so i can rotate wheels in winter but prefer not to spend the extra money if I dont have to.

Personally I would go with an alloy/or aluminum. The killer in winter is salt and pitting from road debris. ie. pebbles,sand shlt like that. A good powdercoated steel wheel will last as long as you clean them once a month or so. Stay away frm chrome imo.
ps. 265/60's on a 20 inch rim is a pubic hair short of 33"'s btw.
