That's how I'm starting to feel weedahoe! I don't even bother to track my MPG's half the time because it just frustrates me. No matter what I do, my gas mileage sucks. A CTD looks better and better every time I fill up! Honestly though, I didn't buy my truck thinking it was going to get 20 MPG. I knew what I was getting into.

Like it has been said many times on this forum, these are big, heavy trucks that like the gas. You can drop close to a thousand bucks on mods (exhaust, CAI, and programmer) and you'll maybe see an increase of a couple MPG's but like it was said earlier, good luck keeping your foot out of it once you've added your mods! Good luck to you with whatever you decide to do. Be sure to let us know what works for you.

1. Run good oil. (amsoil)
2. Get a good reputable intake filter (K&N)
3. Free up your exhaust with a reputable product. (magnaflow kit)
4. Get a SC tuner
5. Maintain your tires and tire pressure.
6. Drive the speed limit. acl steadily and brake slowly.
7. Regular preventative maintaince. (plugs filters egr even suspension components)
I get 16 city and 20 hwy on mine.

Research it, Learn it, Buy it, Mod it (cheaper to mod then Gas). Love it when towing and everyday drivin.

HA HA HA......is your age showing today? Hands down a diesel will make more power and Lord knows I want one but making it cheaper just is not it.
