Why dont you go with a big cowl style hood instead, those look great on big lifted trucks

If that's the case...get THIS

Most important thing of all is you wouldn't have to even set your beer down to install it.

Its the style hood you are after that looks off when its painted a light color (silver white off white). That Cowl hood would make your truck look even more like a tank though.

Yeah I agree that if you are gonna do it, get a hood and not a scoop. The only reason I have a scoop is because of the dent that a fallen limb caused and I don't really have the $ to spend on a hood.
I fully intend to remove my hood and cut it out and re-apply the scoop with the front end cut out and a piece of 'gutta mesh installed, kinda like it is now, but without the mesh just stuck on for looks. I'm only waiting for one or both of the guys who promised to help me remove the hood and put it back on to show (that would be a hint).

But beware RH, I personally don't know of ANYONE who has purchased a fiberglass hood that had it fit properly without some fabrication. I'm not saying to necessarily purchase a steel one, but just that you may end up spending more than just for the hood, freight and painting when all is said and done...
