Your right it isn't the best system, but aftermarket can get very expensive to do properly not to mention it's alot of work for the average joe.

the dealer sells a "repair" plug that you have to assemble and it comes with 2 solid blue wires...the repair plug doesnt come with wires the same color as originally in the door because i was told that chrysler/dodge/jeep use this plug in many applications

thanks Okla...this is a big help...i have 1 more question. On the back of the speaker, there is a blue paint dot on one side...is that to mark the positive term side of the speaker plug?

Can you confirm the (+) and (-) wire colors form you diagram...print is a little small and want to make sure i got it right before i solder...thanks

sorry about the quality some one sent me a screen shot and i had to crop and resize to get that much. maybe we can talk one of these guys with all data to give us a better one
