Default finally got rid of the stock tires...

Just thought I would share.

I got some 305/55/20 NTG's a few months ago from member RH on here. Good dude, great tires.
Well, since then I threw the GY HP's in the corner of the garage. I posted them up on craigslist yesterday not expecting to get any bites, cuz everyone knows they suck. Guy calls today and gave me my asking price of $150. They had 18K on them so they were probly at least half way done.
Anyways, just thought it was cool that I finally got rid of that trash and actually got some cash for them. I didnt think Id be able to give them away.
Hopefully I wont go to hell for ripping someone off.
Oh well, guy should have done his research....

You didn't rip him off at all. I have 37k on the stock GY's and there is pretty good tread left. 50k should be easy for me and for the dude that got your tires, even if he gets another 20k or so out of them is not a bad deal for $150 bones.

I put 55k on my stock GY's , but they were garbage in the snow & anywhere else there wasn't pavement.

I agree completely. The only reason they are still on is that I am to cheap to throw out a tire with tread on it.

Im with ya'll on the goodyears. I have 23K on mine. They are a good road tire, I swear you could get stuck on wet grass with them though.

That's still a great deal for 4 tires, 20s none the less. I just bought two for my rear, now all four will last another year and I can get the tires I want.
