Dreaded license plate light problem
So, basically I went for an inspection and ended up getting slapped with a $400 bill including a new windshield, tie rod end, etc.. Long story short, I need to find some type of replacement for the entire license plate light sockets that the bulb connects to. All of my other lights work so I'm sure that all I need is either these factory sockets ( which from the dealer are exactly 54.25 each ) something I am not willing to pay. When I purchased the truck, these sockets were completely non-existent, they had been cut from the 2 wires. I need some type of advice for a replacement for these. I'm open to any suggestions or ideas as to what you guys did to fix this problem. Should I just wire some cheap bulbs or is there something more permanent that I can do. Cops in my area are pulling people over for this so I need help!
Without knowing the specifics of your vehicle (year, model?), this is the best I could come up with.....
