I have a 4x2 truck. So i use it for mostly street. But sometimes when i go shooting i go on dirt roads that can get some what bad. So a locker like detroit would help. Also i have 31in tires with stock 3.92 gears. My truck isnt lifted and dont plan too. I dont want to lose top end when im on it. So should i go with 4.10s. My tires are kumho 305-50-20 so they are a little wider than stock.

Also do you guys think its a good idea to buy a used auburn for 200+. The guy at the shop said it is still good. But im sceptical about it. I seen rebuild kit for them.

I would not just put a new pin in and be on my merry way. The feeling of hitting a small car along with te clanking has bould to cause hairline cracks in the gears, bent gear teeth, etc... that will cause wear issues, heat buildup, and/or just a larger failure later. Go spend the $$ and have a diff shop look it over.

LSD is for Limited Slip Differential. LD is the open diff. If forget what clever termonology Dodge came up with for LD.
