Default best muff

I've searched but can't find the answer. What is the best muffler for the hemi, retaining the stock tubes? I want the AT3030 but I can't find them and they are far more expensive than others and I have a feeling it might be too loud. I was thinking magnaflow but I don't know the exact model that would work for me. Basically, I like going to the shops and telling them exactly what I want instead of them talking me into something else. So what's the best bang for buck with the most MPG gains if any?

MPGs is ALL about flow, the less restrictions, the more efficiency, the better the MPGs. Go to the FAQ, I've got flow rates of some of the various mufflers there.

I've got the 3030xl and it's not loud at all. It's actually between stock and your standard magnaflow. I noticed about 1 mpg better when I put mine on with a CAI. You have to do some funky conversions if you put it on yourself. My stock exhaust was 2.75".

since this is gonna be a what i got and i like it best..I'll share my own...lol
I got a Magnaflow 18" oval. It's very clean sounding and I have no complaints other than it may be a lil quiet at times. I have no resonators, so if you are not cutting them out, I'd say a 14" Mag would be the way to go. Mine's all stainless so no rusting and there's no packing to blow out.
In cab resonance is very mild and is barealy even there only at limited rpm ranges so it's relatively quiet incab....with the windows closed that is. My wife and i can chat no problems.
So, go 14" oval or maybe an 18" bullet style.
The oval one's are gonna be more tamed and clean sounding. Does not mean they will always be quiet. Rounds are gonna be aggressive sounding and the shorter you go, the raspier they will get. Hope this helps.
