i emailed the guy i bought my truck from who is a manager at a service center, he said he could replace the seal and top of fluid (fluid was changed about 10k ago) and the seal would be under warranty for 12 months for $100. seem like a fair price?

yes, I would consider that fair especially if he is going to cover the seal for a year.. Good luck with it.

Why not call your dealership and see how much they want for the OEM seal?

Is that the best replacement seal? i just figured with the OEM seal leaking there might be a better on one the aftermarket.

i was not concerned with the price of the seal as much as finding someone who had a seal that was not going to leak after a couple months.

IDK how much any of them are but the OEM is fine if you cant find anything else for a comparable price.
