So I have had this issue with my dash squeaking for a while and decided to figure out whats going on. Seems to be a common issue with some of the Rams out there. Turns out the retainer clips that hold the cover along the windshield was the culprit. Its the cover that runs the width of the dash and just below the windshield and houses the two dash speakers (some models). I pried the cover up and there are a series of clips which press into some fabric wrapped retainers. Replace the fabric as it tends to wear out and reassemble. The squeak I had was loud and drove me nuts!! Worked for me and it may work for you.

what does this squeak sound like? because i have a little clicking noise that seems to happen sometimes when i turn the steering wheel. barely noticeable but just enough to annoy me.

 

does it sound like its in the steering column? when your driving or at a stop?

 

yes it does. i notice it when driving

 

The squeak I had sounded like two pieces of metal rubbing together and it was there all the time while driving.

 

Mine doesnt make any noise in my truck but my wive has a noise in her Mini and it drives her crazy and I can understand what you go through when you have something like that.

 

my cup holder squeaks when its down and not loaded lol so annoying if i for get to close it lol

 

My cup holder vibrates also.

 

anybody had a virbrating sound coming from the drivers front door or panel between front and rear (drivers side doors)??
