Default Parts For Homebrew CAI

I know I would need a couple of 90 degree bends, and some straight pipe, but what size? and what else? and what is the difference between a bigger cone filter and a shorter one?

either 3" or 4" works good... use 1 90 degree bend and one 45 degree- this will put you right behind the passenger headlight.
a bigger cone or cylinder filter will give you a better filtration vs a smaller cone or cylinder. Heres mine. also need a coupler to go from the TB to the piping. also what ever you need to use to connect your filter

Mine was a spectre all in one. It adapted from 2.5 to 4.0 Got a great deal on it. your also gonna need some rvt sealent for the air sensor. it's gotta be air tght, also I ran a breather filter for the vent tube that soils the tb imo. After that Oh the coupler can be found in the same aile btw. I picked up a ss one it works fine. Your tb is exactly 4 inches in dia meter so it's no problem getting 4 inch pvc pipe about a foot is all you need the elbows make up the diff. I went 45 off the tb and 90 at the r/s headlamp. Good luck it's actually a quick mod.

PVC, elbows, boots and clamps and PVC cement should all be in the same aisle if you hit a Lowes or Home Depot. The only thing other than that (besides paint) would be a small rubber grommet for the hole(s).

I just usually use the rubber cement around the grommet, but I don't really even think you need it. the hole/grommet size should be such that the sensor pushes in rather snugly and that should be good enough...

if you drill the correct size hole for the sensor- the Oring on the sensor works just find.
