Default efan help

so a buddy and i installed my efan last night and everything went great. the fan worked the led light turned off when i shut the truck down but today my truck is dead. like so dead no lights, no sound, nothing. I put the key in the ignition and turned...nothing happened. The door locks wont work either so im pretty solid in the fact that its just the bat. So i assume that its just my bat dead from the efan draining juice all night? but the led light turned off when i shut the truck down so im unsure. we had it hooked to one fuse but when we turned the truck off the light stayed on so we switched fuses. any ideas? im gonna unhook everything, jump it, let it run to re-charge the bat, then shut her down, wait a while and see if it will start again. i assume that if she starts that i just have to pick a new fuse to connect to? any help would be great....

bad ground? even if you hooked up to an unswitched power source, should not drain the battery if the fan is not running...

eFan draws a lot of power. I connected mine directly to the battery, using an controller to turn it on and off. You should beable to just lift the efan connection to test your system.

I agree. Was this an e-fan kit? Which one? Is the fan temp controlled? It almost sounds like a short somewhere...

Agreed, I have mine wired so that with the key off it will still run. Some dont like to do that but being I have two batteries I dont mind.

Some guys run a LED spliced off the 12v side of the fan so they will know when it is running and when it is not. I have one wired this way on both my efan and my air compressor. It lets me know what is going on in the truck because between my exhaust and sound system, i cant hear much else.
