Default Park Brake Warning Light

02 1500 QC
I've got issues with my parking brake light staying on & flashing. I know where the sw is, but what turns it off. I see there is a part that looks like a cam that may have something to do with actuating the sw. Only thing is, I'm not too sure on what it's supposed to look like when it's working properly. There is a metal tab on the sw that I think isn't lined up right, or something. When I push on the metal sw tab, the light will shut off. It just looks like a micro sw. Anyone ever change one out? Do I just need to see it there is just slack in the cable not allowing the cam to hit the tab on the sw to shut it off? Some pics of one working properly would be nice!

The tab may have broke off or bent and will not ground out the switch, thats why the lite stays on. You can just replace the switch.

Thanks. I'll see if I can just pick up a new one then. Shouldn't be too hard to change out then, right?
