Default 2004 Ram 1500 3.7L Over heating

My truck over heats after 10 miles. It runs between Normal and Hot indicated, in 90 degree temps. I have changed the thermostat, water pump, hoses, Coolant temperature sensor, coolant, radiator cap, and checked the radiator. When indicating Hot I checked temperature out of the water pump with an infrared temp gun and it read 204 F which seems normal to me. The bottom hose indicates 150 F. Any Ideas ?

Chances are, that you Rad is getting plugged.

Just make sure the treatment is safe for aluminum, most are, but its always good to check

I would take out the stat for testing purposes and see if you get the same. If so and then lower rad hose it cooler than the top then I would look at the rad being clogged as Gone Fishin suggested.

Installed an analog temp gauge in bleed port at top of engine block. Reading confirms the dash temp gauge is correct. Still running between normal and hot which reads 230 on analog gauge.

Did you have the rad pressure checked? When you say you checked the rad, how did you check it? In a cooling system you only have the following components (to which most you have already checked)

radiator
radiator cap
rad hoses
water pump
stat heater core
heads/gaskets

Now you never have said what temp stat you are using and you have not said if you are getting 230* with that stat in or out. If you are getting that 230* with that stat in then take it out and see what you get. If still running hot and IF you have had the rad pressure checked and rodded out, then the last thing I would suggest is bad head gaskets

After selecting heater to full hot, drained coolant from radiator and engine. Removed stat. Filled with water and commercial Radiator Cleaner. While running, noticed water flowing good in radiator filler port. No bubbles. Ran on road and in city. Ambient temp was in the 90's, engine temp was steady 190*. Drained and flushed 3 times. After testing original stat ( in hot water, opened @ 190*) reinstalled. Back filled system from top hose through water pump to prevent air in system. I noticed it took approximately 2 quarts more coolant to fill than I had taken out. Suspect there was air in system causing water pump to cavitate. Temperature now is solid 190* (normal) in 93* ambient outside. Thank You All for help. Thank You Weedahoe
