Default Brake and ABS warning lights

Both of these are illuminated now. I searched and found two possible answers, speed sensor, and or low brake fluid. I just replaced the speed sensor and the brake fluid is fine. What is my next step, the ignition key code trick brings up no codes.

BTW, I just replaced all the rotors and pads, and I replaced one of the rear calipers. Did I damage something. How do I get a ABS code if its not showing up?

Shorty,
This sounds to me like the problem is associated with your repair. I would recheck all the sensor connections. If it was only the ABS I would say have it reset at the dealer. They charged me $79 to reset my ABS and reflash the PCM. good luck

I was hoping to avoid the dealer, for obvious reasons. Does anyone know where the sensors are? They are not on the individual calipers.

The sensors are usually on the wheel bearing hubs. They could be on one hub or more

Sensors are on the hubs if fitted with and electrical "pigtail" coming out of them.
The rear sensor is on the top of the pumpkin and there's only one.
It picks up it's signal from the diff ring gear.
Hope this helps?
Al.

So the Speed Sensor that I already replaced was part of the ABS in the rear. So it would have to be one of the front sensors. It's raining right now I will crawl under there again ASAP. Thanks for the help.

BTW, I reset the computer and it did nothing.

Yep......it doubles up as part of the ABS system.
The two front caliper, if you have ABS on the fronts as Dodge did have an option to have only rear wheel ABS, will have an electrical pigtail coming out of each caliper.
You might have damaged one of the sensors if you weren't careful with a front caliper.....say letting it dangle in free air without supporting it?
You can get codes read for free I believe, at AutoZone. But some of my American friends on here will advise you better on that.
It might not be a sensor though????......could be your ABS module that sits somewhere beneath the battery tray I believe.
A guy on here posted up a great "how to" article, about his duff ABS module. The stealership wanted like hundreds of $'s to replace it. He removed it, cleaned up the electrical contacts in the wirring harness, plugged it all back togeather and voila.........it worked and cleared his ABS faults.
I would get the codes read and start from there if I were you.
Hope this helps?

Often the CAB doesn't show any codes. But yes the rear sensor on the axle is the RWAL/VSS sensor. I only have one senor on the passenger front wheel. I would check the connections and wiring for damage. Good luck.

2 wheel ABS = one sensor on the pumpkin.
4 Wheel ABS = two sensors on both the front caplipers and one on the pumkin.

I did a wire inspection this AM and only sound one wire going to the front wheels it was on the drivers side, is anyone sure about two going to the front? Maybe I missed it, but I don't know how.

Someone wrote about priming the ABS or something, has anyone heard of this?

Also I did not bleed the fluid as I was compressing the caliper pistons, honestly never have, but recently heard that you can damage the ABS module doing this, anyone have experience with this?
