Hello! I have used this in the bed of my truck. I am pleased with the product, but TAKE YOUR TIME! Preparation is what makes this product work. Read the directions and do it x2! When it says sand paper it, I would use a sand paper of about an 80grit. Go over the area with steel wool first then do the sand paper. Anyways, like I said early preparation is very important, make sure you have at least 1 whole day set aside. Good luck!

One of the first mods on my truck and it still looks great to this day. The key to using Herculiner is good prep work.

A little dirty but still looking good.

i used it when it first came out and i was not impressed with it. for me it chips to easy when you have heavy items like axels and what not. for the money i would go with a spray in.

I followed the directions to the T when I did mine, and two years later it needs to be redone. If you do it put a paint stripper on a drill, the scotch bright method just didn't work, and neither did sand paper apparently.
I would still do it over the the more expensive options, 84 dollars vs 600....

Like the other guys have already said "preperation is every thing with this. " One thing that other guys didn't mention is that I used a paint mixer on an electric drill to keep the Herculiner well mixed. If you don't the particles in the liner will all settle to the bottom of the can. If you take your time and do good prep work herculiner is just as good as any other liner.

Imo a spray on bedliner has to be done by those that only spray on bed lienrs. If one little spot is properly sealed and water or air gets under it, it will lead to the rest of the bedliner. I've got Rhino in mine and absolutely love it. Only thing that has every failed on it was a little corner piece on the top of the tail gate where I snagged a tree as I was putting it into the bed.
