I agree with NO stacks on a gasser...i know a guy in my town who thought it would be fun to put 8 inch stacks on his 97 chevy...what a waste of time and money.

I will agree tho, IF DONE RIGHT, on a diesel they can look really good, sound good too. If you go on youtube and search up final touch performance, and look at his tractor pulls. His truck sounds nice and look alright. His are not just two holes cut out of the corners and two pipes stuck in...

When I was a kid, his boys and I used to stand on the trunk and pretend the wing was a store candy counter.

These stacks look pretty good on a madern day gasser.

So in my opinion thay can be made to look good.
But for the most part I agree that I wouldn't put them on anything but a diesel truck.

I dont agree with stacks on a gas truck, because there isnt any reason for it. The reason big rigs have stacks, mainly, is to fast track the extremely hot gases caused by the turbo OUT. A gas motor, in most cases, just wont burn hot enough to justify smoke stacks. I like stacks on a diesel pickup, dont get me wrong, but even I frown upon it sometimes. If you just have a chip and an intake, you dont need stacks. Now of you have injectors, High pressure fuel system, twin or upgraded turbos... and are ROLLIN SOME SERIOUS COAL; than and only then, are stacks acceptable.

But since he decided no stacks, lol, then thats cool. But common, you cant tell me that this truck doesnt at least look good...

It's your truck. You do what you like, not what others think or like. So my opinion doesn't matter. Have fun with the RAM and do to it what makes YOU happy!
