Default Flowmaster 50 Series installed

Thanks to bridogr1 for selling me his un-used Flowmaster 50 cat back split tail pipe system. It arrived yesterday and I installed it in about one hour. My neighbor loaned me his sawsall to cut off the old tail pipe and that saved me big time. Having an air compressor and air ratchet also saved me time till I tightened up the hose clamp for the stainless steel tip too much. Easy fix.

The sound is just right.

2003 Ram Hemi Quad SLT 4x4 & tow package (3.92 pos dif, skid plates, fogs, adjust pedals, defrost outside mirrors, 7 pin hitch, 700 amp battery, 17" aluminum wheels with 275/70 tires), keyless entry with security keys, tail gate anti-theft device, lug locks, locking gas cap, locking spare tire, aluminum billet grille, Carr aluminum side steps, CAI intake with K&N filter, Flowmaster 50 Series split tail pipe system with chrome tips out the rear and power seats and windows.

51 thousand miles of pure joy!

I am not touching anything frm the cat up. I asked the dealship before doing anything to my truck. Exhaust changes from the converter up is going to void the warranty.

Accualy you can do full exhaust with headdres and everything and still have the warrenty. just if something breaks and its because of the exhaust... then your screwd other then that you ok.

You can technically do mods without voiding the warranty (Magnuson-Moss Act), but if the dealer believes the mod caused the problem, then they'll deny coverage for the specific problem you caused. All other elements of the warranty should stay in effect. Some dealers will try to pull that crap that as soon as they see a K&N air filter they claim no warranty, but don't put up with it.

There are some things that not only will void the warranty, but are illegal as well, such as tampering with the emissions system....basically cat backs are fine, but you can't remove the cat or re-program the emissions portion of the computer.
