Default Poor AM radio reception

I've been looking all over the place and can't find anything similar to my issue. What I have happening is static on AM radio, but only when I am on the throttle. It doesn't matter how much throttle, just anything more than closed throttle. It does not sound like "whine" like you'd get from running cheap RCA's to an amp. Nor do I have an amp or sub's in my truck. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Well most interference is caused by faulty wiring, bad grounds and the radios them self.

Did your radio always do this? Have you changed anything recently?

There could be so many possibilities...

^^^ Thats is correct, also proximity too the station it self. Those high powered ny stations come in clear as a bell, However radition from the sun, distance radio wave is traveling and radio itself all play a factor in am reception. As a side note. very few am signals come in clear in most cars, however mitsubishi has a good sounding radio. Most of the vehicles I have driven are **** including mt ram. By contrast most diesel trucks, Semi's that is the radio is far superior, am reception that is. Not much of an answer, but at least an explanation.

To really date myself, I am from the days of the AM radio. Pretty much that was how AM was defined was by the constant fading in and out and static. But if I am remembering correctly, a partial fix was to have a capacitor in the ground wire. Of course we ran solid core spark plug wires and ignition points which made lots of electrical noise. But we would sit out on the high points at nights trying to pickup "Wolfman Jack" old outlaw station south of the border..
