I found out that the above Dynomax is an "Ultra Flo" which advertises and "Aggressive" sound. Probably not what I'd be interested in. The Super Turbo with the "Mild" sound is probably more what I'd be going for.

Here's a Dynomax Super Turbo dual system for $223:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

That muffler is supposedly 1/3 as loud as a Flowmaster and no highway drone. This may be the cheapest way to go if I can't find a used OEM. I can't even find a single exhaust system for this cheap.

For a nice mellow sound that is not loud my recommendation is the 30" long Magnaflow. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-12388/

The 2010 model also has a single inlet and dual outlet and you might find a takeoff at a local muffler shop for a good price. Good luck...

I'm not really interested in dual exhaust pipes. I'll take that if it's the cheapest but my preference would be a single pipe.

That said the cheapest thing I can find is the dual system I mentioned above from Amazon. There's a $75 rebate on it right now and free shipping. So, it would be $148 delivered for the whole system with hangers welded in the factory locations and everything.

For a single exhaust I could go with the Walker Quiet FlowSS:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

And the Dynomax tailpipe:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Both of these are specific to the '04-05 Hemi and have all of the hangers pre-welded on. Cost would be the same as the dual outlet system accept this would have a stainless muffler. I'd also have to spend a little more on clamps because that wouldn't be included here.

It seems like either of these options would be cheaper than going to an exhaust shop and paying shop labor rates to have something bent and welded.

Get a longish Magnaflow (18 or 19") SISO and get a resonated tip. Great CFM and will be quiet.

But as far as I know they don't make one with appropriate hangers on it. So, I'd have to get a shop to weld it up.

What's a resonated tip?

I'd do my own hangers, but still even at a shop, what's that $20-25?

A resonated tip is exactly what is sounds like it is. A tip with a sound deadener or "resonator" built in. Most auto parts stores carry them and they are available online for around $20-30...

lol, thats the same exact exhaust tip I had on my dodge. But I ran the exhaust all the way through the resonated part so that it didnt affect the sound of my exhaust.
