Unhappy Ok so before I start tearing apart my door...

When I first got my truck I had keyless entry and lock actuators installed. For a while my door wasn't opening with the keyless entry, only turn key. Well now it's stopped doing that all together... Every once in a while it would let me open it with the key but today, nothing at all.

Any hints to getting the door off? I removed the 2 up top (one my mirror and one by interior handle) and the two at the bottom of the door. I lifted here lifted there and realized the interior handle and manual window crank are in the way.

What should I be looking for as far as to replace to solve my problem?

It's embarrassing having to get in from the other side

After you take off the crank handle you have body snaps that hold the skin in place. They pop off, albeit easier with the proper tool. but a flat screwdriver will work just as well. From there you can get at the locking mechanism. Good luck.

Yeah, as said above, remove the crank and I usually just lift up on my door skins. Ive never had an issue getting them off or back on. If the actuator stopped working with the remote then that could be the actuator itself or the wiring in the door as some guys get broken wires. But if it stopped working manually with the key then that could be a frozen actuator or the connecting rods to it have come loose.

But the lock can be all the way up (if I pull it up when the window is down) and still the door handle doesn't allow the door to open. I think it might be a combo of things...

Unbolt the door handle, 10mm socket with an extension is the easiest. Don't have manual windows so I can't help with that one.

As said above, there is a c-clip on the window crank. It is at the base of the crank and usually a PITA to get off. I have used two flat head screwdrivers, and a pair of needle nose in the past to remove it.
