i am also just running a k&n intake as i've been told the same thing that the scoop on the hood is used as a exhaust for hot air and i belive even on the srt it is use the same way as on our truck and isn't ducked to the intake. I haven't had any problems with rain or anything like that, your grill will let in more water, snow, or whatever else than the little opening in the hood

Ok cool guys, thanks for your input... I took it out on the highway this afternoon, and it was raining buckets. Opened the hood and Dry as a bone!!! You were all right!!! Weird thing is, I had driven like 4 blocks in town the other day and when I opened the hood it was all wet??? This is why I was worried about it. I might have hit a puddle or something that sprayed water up in the engine area.. Good to go my worries are over, now I can start planning my next mod... Thanks again to all who responded.

I know of 2 options avail for Ram Air. The set-up OlDirty mentioned and the Other which is a Mopar set-up using their CAI.

I am going with this hood and don't know if I wanna go functional. IMO if a fellow is running Long-Tube header the Heat escape through the Hood will be Beneficial for sure. I Imagine the Mopar CAI works well but don't know why Mopar would throw in a TB spacer with it as those are proven useless but that would be a separate discussion.
