Thanks guys. I broke a lug nut stud yesterday when I was taking the tire off so once I get that replaced I will be going over some speed bumps. I don't really want to take off the o/l leaf because I still use the truck to haul and I don't have the money laying around to buy the helper bags, if I did I would have just went ahead and dropped it 2/4.5.
Drop shackles on these trucks are a waste of money, IMO. But the truck will settle a little. When i first got my truck I bought a set of 2in drop shackels from ground force and it really only lowered it 1 inch or 1.5 inches, cant remember. Make sure not to tighten the shackle bolts and nuts until the truck and suspension is d and try not to over torque them. I ended up ordering a Mcgaughy's 2/4.5 lowering kit that next month.

Although I just landed an RA (resident advisor) job at school and that pays free room, free food, and $700 a semester so maybe by next summer she will be sitting a little lower
