Default Sluggish performance and no downshift

My 2003 5.7L hemi is sluggish at best, had a p0129 MAP code which I cleared and it made no difference. I did notice that there is no 02 reading from bank #2, I don't know whats going on there..Also, some background this is a 2003 Hemi with a 2005 5.7l hemi, instead of swapping the parts from the old set up onto the longblock, I guess that must have been too much hassle or they thought it would be better and "more modern"? anyhow, this 2005 motor looks like it has a electronic EGR valve that has no available connector and hence is not hooked up, I've heard rumors that the 2003 did not have a EGR at all, is this true? Also, the tranny does not shift into overdrive, nor does it downshift when I floor it.

I need HELP!! I want to get this truck running right so I can enjoy it.

To help those with the same issues, I found it. Faulty MAP sensor. Buy the new updated one if your truck feels sluggish, has a check engine light and tranny won't shift in or out of Overdrive. You will need to reset the ECU with a diagnostic tool before you start the truck with the new sensor.
