You might wanna try rock auto, and if you're interested Federal-Mogul (precision) makes greasable ones

The big box store will most likely tell you that you'll need a reman front drive line,
which is bull****!

I ordered mine through napa when I did them a year ago.

If your driveline setup is the same as a 2500, then you'll need 5 joints

2 in back, and 3 up front---you'll really enjoy the double cardigan.

You'll also want a vice with a 6" throat, and a hand held propane torch (or similar) for the front joints

The retainers are injected plastic, the new ones will have inside clips. You need to heat the caps up just to they're HOT to the touch to break the plastic out.

Have Fun

I looked at the napa site, they have a little better breakdown of the setup, but not great, It appears that you have 4 joints, 2-back 2-front. It does also look like they have the superstrength precision ones which have the grease zerk in the center of the cap----much easier to grease. A single joint is a single cardigan, a double cardigan is 2 joints back to back PIA to pull apart and re-assemble.

Engine size doesn't appear to matter, auto or manual does.

I would crawl under and verify to be sure, plus they have the paper catalogue with the entire drive train and joint locations referenced.

If you get the superstrength ones, you'll also need to get a large size grease needle if you don't already have one---approx 1/8" or so in diameter, not the hypodermic type--too small.

UHHHHHMMMMM, If there's only one on the front, how does each end of the driveline pivot with the movement of the suspension???

Not trying to be a BUTT, but if its something new, please enlighten me.

My 2500 has a double cardigan at the transfer case which allows for more articulation of the shaft, while also helping to maintain center

Are they using some sort of booted CV joint similar to the front drive axles??

i had my u joints about a 6 months ago. and i had to get one from the dealer because the one from the local autoparts store would not fit rite on the back shaft joint closest to the axle.
