Default 2008 Ram Cigarette Lighter not working

I hardwired a radar detector in my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 worked fine, but now the cigarette lighter doesn't work any suggestions?

Did you check the fuses? did you install a ground on the radar detector?

I installed the ground coming from the radar detector to the main battery ground then I used an add-a-circuit and ran the positive to the cigarette lighter fuse. The thing that is puzzling me is that the radar detector is working but the cigarette lighter isn't. Seems to me if they are both on the same circuit and one is working the other should be working. The fuse is good.

Thanks to everyone I fixed the problem. The add-a-circuit had two places for fuses didn't know both spots had to have a fuse in them. Once I put fuses in both spots now both things work fine. Again thanks for all the help.
