Default 5.7 Hemi conversion questions

Hey Guys,

I'm putting a 2006 5.7 Hemi from a Charger into my 2004 Hemi Ram. Is there a difference in the cranks on the 2 engines?

The engine doesn't seem to want to snug up to the tranny like it should. Wondering what might be going on?

Thanks !

The engine block should be the same. Make sure your torque converter is recessed into the tranny bell housing... ( I made this mistake and went through the same thing) should be about 1/2 inch past the edge of the tranny housing... the torque converter is keyed, so make sure you look and line it up and turn it until it slides in all the way... Then lightly tighten tranny down, tighten the torque converter up to the flexplate, then torque your tranny to the block.
