Default Leveling kit

Ok so im thinking about putting a 2.5 inch leveling kit on my front end of my 2wd 03 ram so i can fit some 33's or 35's...

1) Is this relatively easy to install?

2) Can i instal a lift at a later time?

3)Is 80 bucks a good deal?

im thinking 2.5 just to make sure i can clear some bigger tires...probably do a 2.5 level and then a 3 inch body lift so i can get some 35's under there.

I got 2" out of the front of mine, by adjusting the torsion bars. It took 5 minutes, was free, looks level, and Im running 32s with room to spare. Ive even heard of guys going 3" with longer adjustment bolts.

But mine is an '05...I dont know if an '03 has the same set up.

Good luck.

Did that stiffen your front end up much? It seems like it would.

If you have a 2WD then the biggest leveling kit you can put on is 2". Or at least that was my experience with the 2wd.

Nope. All your doing is changing the position of the stop...the rotational integrity stays the same. If anything, it may soften you up a bit, by slightly changing your front/back weight ratio.

What it does do however, is slightly change your suspension geometry, and add a little more angle to your CV joints. The latter has little issue, and I would recommend a front end alignment for the prior.
