Lightbulb Engine Light Codes

The engine light is on in my '05 Hemi. I have heard that there is a sequence you can do with your windshield wipers, the code will pop up, and then you can look it up on the internet and find out what the problem is with the truck. Does anyone know anything about this?

I have had this light investigated by Dodge twice already - at $175 each time!!!! NOT doing that again. Im almost better off buying my own reader!

key off, key on, key off, key on, key off, key on. (never start the engine)
the code will display on your cluster.
then list your codes...

Or go to a auto parts store and let them connect a OBD scanner to your truck and get you the codes

Or a air leak. Check the header bolts and make sure none are broken as most people find broken ones
