Default Brakes/shocks 2006 Ram 1500

Have 2006 Ram 1500 w/4.7L.Big Horn 20" wheels 55,000 miles,Daily driver, some hauling (usual weekend projects)nothing real heavy, half H-way/ half streets. Do drive off road(around the farm) but not high speeds or adrenaline junkie Need to replace brake pads, thinking of upgrade to grooved rotors also and want to replace shocks. Something better than OEM. Looking for better handling/ride. Don't want to spend $$$ but understand that upgrades do cost more..Get what you pay for. Suggestions on rotors, pads, shocks. Thanks././.

I was going to ask about the same thing? I have a 2003 1500 4x4, Quad that had the 20's. Now I have 35x18s. Noticed after putting on new pads from Napa that they seem to be heating up and making noise after a few stops in town. Gonna go with the Power Slot, Hawk and maybe recheck my steering and tie rod ends!!! After looking at the video!!

No doubt those pads suggested are good but I just cannot pay for pads that have no lifetime warranty one them. If you are running bigger tires or rims then they are just going to wear down faster and have to be replaced sooner
