i have searched the many threads on the homemade cai but have not been able to figure out what to do with the iat as far as how to install it in the pvc.

 

drill a hole in the side of the PVC just big enough so its a tight fit, then use RTV to seal it in place. Otherwise Bighorn777 found a gromet at the auto store that fits snuggly around the sensor....I just did the RTV and its holding up just fine

 

here you go man, here is the thread I started awhile back. It lists all the essentials needed to make a decent CIA that is in direct outside air flow and away from the hot stale engine air.. It even lists a grommet that you can use to seal the IAT sensor.. Hope this helps, post some pics when your done with it.
