warranty question

Default warranty question

would the warranty cover if your truck is overheating? i know i have a 7 year 70000 warranty just curious if anyone knew before i called on monday!!

You have a 7/70 powertrain warranty. Don't see where they would cover an overheating issue under a powertrain warranty, but hey, go for it. Never know unless you try...

the 7/70 cover engine trans and rearend

so unless it is the radiator i say there is a good chance it would be covered

Overheating is generally caused by radiator troubles which would NOT be cvered. Now, if the problem is with your t-stat or your waterpump, then YES it would be covered. They WILL charge you even for diagnosis if it's not going to be covered under warranty, so you really gotta figure it out before it goes in.

i dont have a clue what it is!!!! it doesnt fully run hot but when i have a load on it climbs up between half way and the 3/4 mark, and when i driving it empty it does fine till i stop or get in traffic then it wants to climb, but as long as i have clean air it runs pretty normal!!!! i have changed the thermostat because thats what it was acting like was wrong... it a 4.7L with 45000 miles on her!!!
