i got my fan clutch off with this...

just put it into your air hammer and boom its off. Then again i was a mechanic for awhile so i had it in my box. It works wonders though

dunno if anybody else noticed this, but on the description it said the fan only moves 1250 cfm. if i remember correctly, the taurus fans move way more than that. not sure if that is on high or low, gets talked about so much in the different threads i get confused.

I bought a OEM replacement 1993 taurus 3.8l fan. It was $75. Overall the e-fan mod was really fun to do.

I have wanted to do this to my truck for a long time now. The only real concern that I have is, Is the Ford Taurus fan large enough to cool a truck that is fully loaded, and then hooks a 7-9,000 lb trailer to it also, or do I need something bigger. In other words I need to hear from someone who uses their truck for work, and works it hard. The other Question I had was Does the Hemi radiator have more cores, and does it bolt in a 4.7 truck. Thanks.

Hey if i were you I would pick up a E-Fan from FF Dynamics. I hear they work great. I am going to get some put on my 2nd gen truck here soon. You can pick em up for around $250 plus shipping. You will gain horses and torque and better fuel economy, and will cause less stress on the A/C Clutch...

You can rent a tool kit from Auto Zone, don't know the price. But if you do decide to, make sure you inspect the tools before pay for it...
