hello, this forum has proven to be an excellent tool for me! thank you everyone! anyways, i am wondering what i can do to get just alittle more power in my truck. i drive an 06 QC 1500 with the 4.7 (i know i should just sell the damn thing and get a 2500!) with straight from the cat back and 20 in rims w/ 275/60/20 mastercraft courser c/t's. people have told me that a chip works great while other people have told me they dont do anything but fool the computer with a wrong temp reading. can someone help me along?
Thanks!
Thanks!

A tuner is a great addition. The "chip" others are referring to would probably be a "power wire" type thing, which does yield a modest power gain by fooling the PCM into thinking your truck is running cooler than it actually is, resulting in more fuel being dumped into the mix.
A tuner and an e-fan would be nice, lower cost additions for power (and fuel economy) gains. In the higher price range, re-gearing (especially if you have the lame 3.55 gears) would allow the engine to operate more up into the power band allowing more power to get to those relatively heavy 20" wheels while at the same time lowering some wear and tear on your transmission...
