Dealer's Service Dept Advice
I bought my 1500 certified directly from a Dodge dealer. I took it the very next weekend to have them fix a couple of things. They fixed one problem and told me two parts needed to be ordered and would come in within 4 days. I waited two weeks and no one contacted me. I finally got a hold of my service advisor and after a long argument, he said he dropped the ball. Another week went by and I still haven't been contacted. I've been trying to contact both my advisor and the service manager for two days now to no avail. My truck now has some other issues and I just can't get a hold of anybody that gives a damn. What can I do? The bumper to bumper is only good for 3 months and I want everything taken care of. It looks like the dealer was only interested in selling me the truck and not servicing it.
+^ for both be thorough and persistant. like hammer loud but not abusive try to pick the busiest time of day. all they care about is money so if it takes a little money to keep u happy and save a lot of money in the meanwhile thats all they care about. do you know a lawyer? like uncle friend or whatever? that could always be ur next step, if its free they can advise u of ur rights local laws etc and of course make them realize u r serious. unfortunatly most places are like this and the average person gets screwed remember th sqeaky wheel always gets oiled. hope this helped mike
