Here are your part numbers straight out of the 2003 parts manual. It translates by 'Line' and lists the numbers for both scissor and screw (hydraulic).

Didn't change it, the hydraulics are for 2500/3500's.

Dude, just do what i did, my truck didnt come with a jack owners manual nothing. You can by a portable hydralic floor jack with a 2000 pound capacity at walmart for 40 bucks which is more than enough if your just looking to have something to change a tire on the side of the road. I keep that under my rear seats with a crafts men ratchet set and a piece of pipe for torque. all you really need is the one bar to lower the spare, after that you can pretty much jerry rig something up for cheap.

Thats the Option I used for last three years (small Hyd Jack), but got a complete set-up from a 2500 just like the pic HemiLonestar shows above and it sits neatly under the pass. seat. Haven't used it since "Knock on wood" or ever had a flat, but I have AMA (Alberta Motor Association good cross Canada and US I think with 100 miles towing, free boost, outa gas, and tire repair, etc) the coverage is for the Me and not the vehicle so if I am riding in yours were covered.

You are correct, a floor jack, 3/4'' socket, and crescent wrench will work and it is all stowable under the rear seats. But, if I have the family, we might need to stow other things. Maybe I am just a little over attentive to details, but I would just like everything to be complete.

I had a flat one time, in the parking lot after work. Tried using the Stock kit under passenger seat). Good thing I had the extension arm, and crank handle to lower the spare, But that jack was USELESS!! It was like holding up a bowling ball with toothpicks. Had to call a friend to bring me my floor jack from the garage.
