how would i check the battery otherwise?

 

drive to your nearest autozone. They have a battery tester and will do it for free. You didn't mention it, but is the check engine light on?

 

check engine light is not on. and when i started it after refueling it started right up, so maybe i didnt run out of gas, maybe it just died like its been doing and i just thought it did since it was so low on gas. it still dies when coming to a stop and doesnt idle correctly.

 

battery is perfect...

have you checked your throttle body? Check to see if its got black covered on the butterfly. The only thing i can think of other than that is maybe a loose wire on the fuel pump when you hit the brakes coming up to the light it grounds out.

 

You think the fuel injectors might be clogged?

 

Unfort without having a SuperChip or Diablosport tuner to do some real time monitoring, without taking it to the dealership you mabye shooting in the dark to fix this.

 

I think i might try getting some fuel injector cleaner from walmart and running that through and if that doesnt fix it ill take it to a shop and they can check it out and look at my IAC and throttle body

 

It appears as tho my cab lights also flicker when i rev the motor...
