So I installed the intake a few weeks ago...and never really crossed my mind until today....but on all the youtube vids and on here everyone talks about the sucking or gulping sound...or whatever...
When I rev the truck or touch the gas...no sound difference from stock.

It did make the exhaust "throatier" at mid range rpm tho...best way I can describe it

I had the same intake on my 01 5.9, and that sounded awesome!

Just curious what you guys think?

As far as the intake
power....seems the same down low, but I can feel it pulling harder mid rpm up. maybe .5-1 MPG gain as well

Just thought it would be cool to get that CAI sound. Maybe its bc of the "TB spacer" that comes W/the kit. IDK?

i wouldnt but the spacer in. but with an electronic throttle you wont get the gulp sound as much as with a cable driven throttle body.
when its idling and you punch the pedal down real quick and release can you hear it more?
