Unhappy Body lift and 305`s

Hey guys,
My 3 inch body lift should be here today. I am thinking that I might have to return it because money is alittle tight and plus I am thinking of going with 305`s and not 35`s. I really want the 35`s but I don`t want the bad MPG that comes with them and I want to keep my stock wheels.. So I have a couple of questions.

If I run the 305`s with just my level there would be no rub would there?

Would the 305`s look to small with the 3 inch body lift if I would put it on?

I can just think of more reasons not to put the body lift on than I can to put it on at this point with money being the way it is.

Thanks

go 35.
with 2.5 level which it says you have in your sig you can fit 35s with just the level.
with a 3 inch body lift on top of the level you could fit more than that.

305's are pretty close but will be smaller than the 35's

I'm not big on 35s with just a level on a 4x4 when you intend to use it as a 4x4 or to tow/haul. Not a lot of room left for flexing the body or sagging due to weight.

With a level and BL you'd be fine with the 35s. 305/70/17s at roughly 33.8" tall and 12" wide would be a better fit for just a leveled truck IMO...

its not just the height thats gonna hurt mpg. Its the width. those 305's will do just as bad as 35's IM experience

Nah, he's got a torsion front end, assuming they are 305/70s at 12.1" wide he'll clear the 305s even with the stock wheels...

Thanks for all the replys.

So does everyone think that the 305`s with just a level would be better for MPG? It makes me sick to think that I am thinking about MPG on my truck but it is also my daily driver :/

I need a second job to just get stuff for my truck.

if you want to keep just the level i would go with your 305's or even 295's

305's are 12.1 inches wide so about as wide as a 12.5 wide tire... I am running 305s with my level with no problem at all.... i just had to get 1.5" wheel adapters to i dont rub the UCA which would have happened, but i have an 06 so there might be a difference.... but i honestly thought when i do my 3" body i would go around a 36" tires, because most sizes run smaller that wat they say, like alot of 35s run at a 34.5ish give or take, and i still got alot of breathing room with my 305s with just a 2.5 inch level.... hope this helps and goodluck

edit: i forgot to mention i had to get the adapters because i was running stock 17 rims.

he won't need spacers, there is a tad more clearance with torsion fronts...
