Truck Bed
I cant find were it says how much wieght i can carry in the bed of my 04 1500 Qd cab has 5.7 Hemi i dont put that much 2 dirtbikes around 450lbs generater around 125lbs and the we tow a 15' travel traile single axle so thats around 1,500lbs i do have a tow package on the truck so the trailer is not be but on the bumper so should i be alright with around 600lbs in the bed of the truck and towing the trailer?
If you've got 3:55's in a 4x2 then it's 1450 lbs total weight NOT including cargo or pasengers. 3:92 in 4x2 is 1600 lbs. Driver weight is figured at 150lbs in those figurse which is pretty silly. Unless your like 5'4" you aint weighing 150. Should be a law against that chit. It's false advertisement in my eyes.
Ohh, that amount also doesn't include the weight of the hitch(~85lbs), bedliner(~40lbs)..etc. So you need to accomodate for every piece of lint that gets put inside the cab...lol
You my friend need a set of airbags. Best way to figure out your payload is to get your truck weighed when loaded and subtract that amount from the gvwr inside your door tag(6400 lbs)
