Default speed sensor ?

i was drivin my truck and the abs light and parkin brake light came on and the speedo went crazy just strarted bouncing all of the place than finally quit and so did the odometer the auto parts guy said there was to sensor one in the tranny and one in the rear end. any one had this problam any one know which sensor to replace first. but the good thing is the gps told me i dont shut off no more

im going through it right now. i replaced the one on the rear end b/c that is the most common one to go. there are 2 on the tranny but there are one on each front wheel also (front wheel ones don't control speed-0 though so those two aren't your problem). the problem with mine is the abs control module (located right next to master cylender with steel brake lines running to it). mine shorted out and burnt a hole right through the damn thing. I would inspect all the componets for burnt wire or burnt modules before buying anything.

i had the same problem and replaced both rear end senor, and both tranny sensors, that wasn't the fix for me. One of the "spare" according to the fuse box 15 amp fuses was blown. I wasn't checking "spare" fuses for being blown so it took me three days of tracing wires before i finally started poking around the fuse block and found the problem. Replaced the stupid 15amp fuse and bingo everything worked and lights shut off!!!
