Default fifth wheel hitch help were to mount it

I just bought a 28 foot fifth wheel camper and I got a fifth wheel hitch to mount in my 06 Dodge Ram Hemi QC. It has a 6ft bed, now the hitch instalation instructions say to mount the center of this hitch 52" away from the cab and it says to have it in front of the rear axle about 2". there is no way you can do this with a 6ft bed. To put it over the axle it is only 40" away from the cab. To put it 52" from the cab well thats way to far back The reason to have it 52" from the cab is so if you turn sharp your not going to knock out your back window. So I don't know what to do. I"m sure that other people have mounted that hitch in a 6ft bed so were have they put it. It seems to me you should be able to go farther back in the box behind the axle since this is a QC. I hope somebody can help and thanks in advance for any help

You get a slider, that's how.

edit: If you don't mount it over the axle, you're going to possibly have issues with weight distribution and trailer sway. It's designed to be mounted directly over the axle, don't monkey with it.
